Design And Application Of The Test Platform Of The Third Generation Of The Nuclear Main Pump Fall-Off Flywheel

The third generation nuclear main pump fall-off flywheel is necessary to provide the required idle moment of inertia in case of power outages, but also to ensure the integrity of the flywheel in LOCA conditions, in addition to the flywheel play the role of flywheel overspeed protection. Currently, foreign third generation nuclear main pump fall-off flywheel technology being kept secret, our study for the flywheel of the type is in the early stages, to cope with the study design and manufacture of this particular type of flywheel, this paper designs and builds this flywheel test bench system and test system and the successful completion of the test of the flywheel prototype. The main research contents are as follows:First, studied the structure and properties of the third generation nuclear main pump fall-off flywheel, analyzed the functional requirements of the test platform, given the design requirements of the test platform and the environmental requirements of test site, formulated the overall scheme of the test platform.Then, according to the overall scheme, studied the test bench part, the bearing lubrication cooling part and electric control part. Meanwhile, this paper completed the selection of the key parts and the static analysis and modal analysis for the bench structure, through the mechanical analysis to ensure the strength and stability of test bench.Next, this paper designed the wireless test system, the system can be done to test the stress and strain, vibration, face runout, radial variations and other physical parameters. This paper gives the design requirement and the overall layout of the wireless testing system, meanwhile, this paper chooses the type of sensor and completed the overall design of the gateway and the wireless node.Last, the flywheel prototype was tested through the test platform, the safety of test platform was verified by field test, the stability and accuracy of the test system was explained through the effective test data.Through the research of this paper, realized the functions of the performance test for the nuclear main pump fall-off flywheel, it is of great significance to the manufacturing of the final product and the test of the third generation of the nuclear main pump fall-off flywheel prototype and engineering sample.
