Along with the unceasing consummation of our country foundation construction, the highway transportation unceasing development,high grade highway, new highway and rebuilding highway will inevitably produce a lot of slope, but due to the influence of natural geological structure and artificial activity, the failure of the slope is increasing steadily. How to monitor the slope and analyze its stability, prediction of deformation trend and instability potential of slope, so it is very important to reduce or avoid the casualties and economic loss caused by the failure of the slope.The main research content of the paper: the displacement and deformation monitoring of the slope is monitored by laser ranging technique. Based on the displacement monitoring results, a mathematical model is established to analyze the deformation trend of slope. Simulation of slope displacement dynamics with GTS software to analyze the stability of slope. The main research results and work are as follows:①Comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of laser ranging monitoring technology and other deformation monitoring technology. The technology of laser ranging is more advantageous in monitoring the surface deformation of highway slope.②The classification of highway slope, the influence factor of deformation and the failure mechanism are summarized, and the deformation and failure characteristics of highway slope are summarized systematically. Using the basic information of the slope and the daily inspection and analysis of slope surface deformation risk.③Using finite element software GTS simulate the slope surface deformation displacement as well as the improvement of the strength reduction calculated fold reduction coefficient of the corresponding simulation displacement value, combined with the actual displacement monitoring results are compared and analyzed.④According to the deformation monitoring data modeling analysis forecast deformation trend as well as the use of numerical simulation analysis of the slope safety factor and the actual situation of slope engineering analysis of the slope stateThe results show that the surface of slope deformation displacement and finite element numerical simulation analysis method of combining, it can according to the displacement of slope dynamic analysis, and combined with the mathematical model of deformation analysis of the trend can be a very good application in slope stability analysis.
