With the development of the city and the requirement for low energy consumption, urban rail transit gets more and more favor from urban public transport. Rail transit has characteristics of low emissions, high efficiency, convenient and timely. The popularity of rail traffic brought people think on rail transportation operation mode. The paper takes Chongqing rail transit as the research object, analyzing the rail transportation operation mode of Chongqing. At first, the paper analyzes the theory and energy structure of rail transit, this provides theoretical basis for operation mode analysis of cost analysis. And then introducing the history of rail transit developing. Analyzing the rail transit make use of transport economics theory, at the same time, studying the operation and management mode and business model of urban rail transit.Second, analyzing all the ownership and operation of ownership, the cost of transportation, the ticket system, operation organization of Chongqing’s existing mode of rail transit. Evaluating the operation model of Chongqing rail transit make use of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method on the base of that analysis result, the evaluation results show that the operation model is kind.At last, the paper introduces the distribution network of Chongqing urban rail transit, at the same time, constructing the model of transport demand and transport capacity by “four stage method” and BP artificial neural, then forecasting the number of transport demand and transport capacity. The forecast results show that the number of transport capacity is less than transport demand. On the base of that, we give the suggestion of operation model when the rail transit of Chongqing is under network condition.
