Research On The Ecological Restoration And Construction Of Vernacular Landscape In The Country Park

With the acceleration of urbanization process, many cities are facing with a complex relationship between population and land. The expansion of Yangling city results in the evolution directing to the suburbanization. The city suburb being a boundary fuzzy area between urban and rural areas, city planning tends to pay more attention to the construction of central areas, neglecting the maintenance of urban fringe and forcing the suburbs to suffer agricultural pollution, domestic waste pollution, industrial pollution, and the sustained deterioration of the ecological environment. Furthermore, because of the over construction and deforestation, suburban’s high valuable natural ecological resources, agricultural land, especially cultivated land was swallowed by reinforced concrete, resulting in the loss of green protective circle for city. These problems lead to a series of environmental, social and economic issues, which gradually form scars of the city. With the ecological consciousness and civilization, sustainable development gradually become a hot topic, and people start to re-examine the transfer of green urban and rural areas, and they are immediately turned to country parks. Ecological restoration provides a good background for the future development of country parks. Country park located mostly in the suburbs, small towns, or big cities, its fringe is the urban fringe areas, mostly are agriculture land, the city especially the small towns are also evolved from original villages and farmland, although urbanization marched in robust pace, but still retains a deep mark of countryside. Thus, this paper focused on the country park construction of small and medium cities, represented by Yangling country park. This research also focused on the ecological restoration, native landscape planning and design patterns of suburban area.To get an understanding of the background of country parks at domestic and foreign research situation, combined with our participation in the project of country park, this paper proposed that ecological restoration and native landscape creating is an effective way to reflect country parks’ natural ecology, local history, and cultural characteristics. Under the guidance of a multidisciplinary theory, this study discussed the details of the ecological restoration techniques of country park and it’s rural landscape mode, and demonstrated the relevant study of Yangling country park practice, and put forward proposals for future development of the country parks.The conclusions are as follows:(1) This paper analyzed the relevant laws and political details of the country parks based on the research of background and overview, and proposed the concept, classification bases, and function of country parks. It also summed up the technology and planning mode for the country parks in middle and small cities’(2) This paper presented that ecological restoration of country parks should follow the basic ecological principles accoding to the secondary succession of vegetation and take a combination between artificial restoration and natural restoration measures. This paper also proposed the repair technology using scientific techniques repairing the site of vegetation, river restoration in different situation.(3) The access points for studing the local landscape contruction should be the following five levels: Physical、Visual、Ecological、Social and Mental. PVESM is the evaluation criteria for if it is a comfortable design of local country parks.(4) At last, with the specific case, this paper applied its technical and ecological restoration of native landscape design patterns to verify the theory and practice, and put forward the future research combined with site actual landscape resources, We cannot ignore that the development of country park is rooted on the basis of the development of eco city construction, and should be put into the background of the integration of urban and rural development, and strive to achieve the sustainable development of the ecological, economy and culture of the country park.
