With increasing train speed in our country, to ensure the safe operation of the train, the parameters of the detection is particularly important, and the catenary wire parameters such as height and the bow net arc detection reflect the bow net running status. However, that the traditional detection method is equipped with sensors on the pantograph, affects the flow characteristics of the pantograph. Therefore, we need to adopt new methods of bow net parameter detection. This article is based on opencv image processing technology of catenary wire height and pantograph arc phenomenon of non-contact detection, and it is of great significance to promote the railway enterprise development.This article is the first to bow net height and arc phenomenon is discussed and based on opencv image processing technology to rise bow height and arc detection principle is introduced. And building of the whole test system hardware structure and uv of selection and installation of cameras and infrared cameras.And then introduced the image binarization processing, image gray processing, image median filtering processing and related computer image processing technology. And by using image processing techniques for pantograph video for pantograph marked point tracking, according to the image pixel coordinate and world coordinate certain mapping relation, converted into a pantograph dynamic bow height. And according to the arc characteristics, image processing technology is used to calculate the image of the arc area, to determine whether there is any arc phenomenon.Coupled with Opencv image processing function on the basis of the application of MFC application framework, and using the Visual Studio 2010 program development tools for pantograph dynamic characteristic testing software interface design and the realization of the function of related.Finally, on the dynamics of the pantograph rose bow height and pantograph pull arc and arc duration tests, due to environmental factors, the hardware factors and artificial operation test error exists, and the error analysis and processing.
