Flow measurement technology is an important part of measurement, plays an important role in various fields. Especially with the development of society, enterprises pay more attention to energy saving and emission reduction and trade both sides for even bargain demand, on flow measurement has put forward higher requirements. Zigong Research Institute of measurement and testing as the center of southern Sichuan measurement, in order to guarantee the healthy development of related industries, the establishment of the device as the highest standard in South Sichuan gas flow, the task is to ensure that South Sichuan gas flow measurement accuracy of flow meter, regularly check for.Based on the basis of the relevant literatures on the, combined with the actual situation of the metrological verification work, the present domestic and foreign gas flow standard device development are analyzed in detail, we compare the principle of standard equipment and quality, each part of the device design, selection, and determine the final design:high precision flowmeter and turbine flowmeter combined in parallel as the standard meter, fan draws air negative pressure gas source, by adjusting the flow of the inverter, and using temperature, pressure sensor and intelligent module to build the hardware platform. Using Visual C++ prepared PC software program, the function modules including information input module, parameter setting module design, flow control module design, module design, flow verification and test results for the database. Finally, on the basis of the verification of JJG643-2003 "Verification Regulation of Flow Standard Facilities by Master Meter Method" and JJF1033-2008 "Rule for the Examination of Measurement Standard", the standard device of the uncertainty evaluation and performance evaluation.The standard device of high degree of automation, flow control is smooth and stable, friendly man-machine interface, real-time acquisition and display temperature, pressure pipeline, automatic compensation calculation and verification results are given. The device of the flow range (1~8260) m3/h, the expanded uncertainty is Urel=0.25%(k=2). The diameter (15~300) of various types of gas flowmeter mm for verification and calibration. Since the operation for one year, the indicators of both technically and economically meet the design requirements, verification work has been carried out smoothly, to achieve the establishment of the device’s mission objectives, to ensure the flow quantity of South Sichuan value transfer smoothly.
