The old building’s reinforcement is one of emerging professions in the present construction industry, building structural members have been used for a certain amount of time, use functional building structure must be changed due to the needs of owners, or due to disasters such as fires and earthquakes make the building structural members can not meet the established functional requirements, then they need to be certain of reinforcement and transformatioalncreasing cross-section reinforcement method is a relatively common, wide range of applications reinforcement approach, widely used in reinforced concrete structural members. The latest edition of "reinforced concrete structure design specification" (GB50367-2013)presented the Normal Section and oblique compression members and cross-sectional of the reinforcement formula, it is worth to discuss this. This paper begins with the general principles of structural reinforcement, the reinforcement of the work program, such as the choice of methods and reinforcement Introduces the principle reinforced concrete structure; Then introduced the principle of increasing the cross-section of the reinforcement and specification bearing capacity of reinforced concrete beams bent by the formula. Finally, using a large general-purpose finite element software ABAQUS, increased by changing the width and height of the section height increases and changes in cross-sectional area at the same time new tension longitudinal reinforcement, reinforcement beams for increased cross-sectional method nonlinear simulation analysis.According to the analysis, verify the capacity calculation formula specification and offer insights.
