Study And Processing Of AIS Baseband Signal Based On ARM

At present, with the rapid development of waterborne transport, AIS(Automatic Identification System) is becoming more and more important in maritime traffic surveillance and the safety of navigation. It researches the processing of the baseband signal of Class B AIS, designs the scheme of the system, and implements the function by AIS module. It has an important practical value for our inland and coastal shipping.Hardware design and implementation includes AIS baseband signal processing module, AIS received baseband signal RF front-end circuit module and GPS module. AIS baseband signal processing module is mainly composed of the main controller ARM(Advanced RISC Machines) chip STM32 and AIS baseband signal modem chip CMX7042,which realizes AIS baseband signal processing. Channel frequency of RF front-end circuit module is configured by the main controller and the phase locked loop frequency synthesizer MB15E03 chip,which realizes a radio receiving AIS signal. GPS module implements UTC synchronization and the compositional parameters of AIS messages.Software design and implementation includes the basic configuration module, AIS dual channel receive module and a baseband signal transmission module. Basic Configuration module implements basic functions of STM32 and CMX7042, VCO frequency configuration and GPS synchronization. AIS dual channel receiver module implements AIS receiver,baseband signal standard format encapsulation process,AIS message parsing. AIS dual channel transmitter module implements processing and research of the baseband signal transmission. It implements the program design for messages relations of class B AIS transceiver.Transfer of AIS baseband signal is realized by the homemade AIS transceiver module. AIS baseband signal is used for system test and verification. Test results show that the system design is effective and stable.
