In order to achieve target levels for flying ballistic trajectory of real-time tracking photography, getting various important technical indicators of flying target. Through this topic research designs a rotating track frame turns flat mirror real-time tracking flying target, through high-speed camera shooting turn mirror reflection of target image, to achieve the level of target and outer ballistic flight trajectory of flight attitude of continuous tracking shooting and recording system.Research content of this article is the analysis of the principle of the horizontal trajectory tracking system to track, First of all, from the existing track method, this paper analysis the various trace tracking principle and the advantages and disadvantages of these methods. Then the tracking method and the method from the theory to the test analysis and further research are put forward in the paper. The layout of the hardware components of horizontal trajectory tracking system design as well as the related velocity measuring system software program debugging are completed. The design of the system’s ballistic instrument distribution parameter and the laser velocity measuring system are finished. At the same time, the mathematical model of the tracing mirror movement is established, the overall scheme design process is analyzed, composition structure and working principle of trajectory tracking system, as well as counter rotating mirror the key technical parameters are designed and calculated, mainly including the calculation and simulation of scanning rate, etc. To count rotating mirror scanning rate curve, this article has carried on the simulation by using the MATLAB software, set up a transit rotate speed and displacement and the mathematical relationship of tracked objects. To achieve real-time tracking for flying object, the trajectory tracking system adopt the mode of open loop drive a stepping motor in the mirror, motor control program is written.with the KEIL software, through the way of experiment verified the mirror scanning rate curve. Finally, through the times of the whole system debugging, the feasibility of the system is verified.The design of trajectory tracking system is on the premise of using Nikon V3 camera, it can test flight target speed range of hundreds of meters per second, through the relevant experiment and conclusion, the conditions of system can achieve tracking index for:the system detects the target flight top speed of 2512 m/s, the goal of effective tracking range is 90°.
