In the anchorage of cable-stayed bridge, forces exerted on stayed cables and anchor devices are very powerful and complicated, which requires accurate design and rigorous calculation. Therefore, it is necessary to apply Finite Element Method (FEM) to carry out stress simulation analysis on the concerning areas to understand stress distribution. The thesis carries out stress simulation analysis on tower and beam anchorage zones as well as top plates of the main girder, in order to understand the distribution of stress and evaluate the safety of stress structure. The paper comprises four parts:First, a brief history of the cable-stayed bridge is introduced, the anchoring method and structure characteristics of the anchorage zone of the cable-stayed bridge are overviewed, and the research status quo of stress analysis is illustrated.Second, tower anchorage zone and the anchoring method of beam anchorage zone are demonstrated.Third, finishing integral calculation of the bridge and getting a big picture of the stress situation of it, disadvantaged anchorage zone segments are singled out for studying stress situation and boundary conditions under unfavorable combination of loads. ANSYS is then utilized to calculate and analyze those segments, in order to understand stress distribution in the anchorage zone and evaluate the safety of the segment when it is built. Disadvantaged anchorage zone segments include tower anchorage zone segments, concrete main girder segments of the vehicular bridge, and main steel box girder segments of the footbridge.Fourth, the results of calculation are presented to analyze the characteristics of stress distribution of tower and beam anchorage zones and their safety. The thesis, by analyzing the results, proves that bridge pylon has a reasonable stress situation in general. However, there is still stress concentration around the openings in the anchor plates of foot bridge tower and some welding lines in the steel anchor box of vehicular tower; as to the foot bridge, steel box girders and steel anchor box of the beam have a relatively low stress level and are within the expected range; as to the vehicular bridge, middle cross-section has relatively low pull and press stress level and are within the expected range, while anchoring junctions of stayed cables have a high stress level.
