With the development of space technology, space technology and application results in almost all areas of human activity has brought revolutionary change. The artificial earth satellite as an application of space technology, has been the construction and development of the country plays an inestimable role, but also closely related to our daily life. Various satellite wide use, variety. Their main role is to transfer signal, through the recovery image and data to monitor the cloud, rain, wind, forest fires, taking pictures of investigation etc.. In order to make these precious signal, image data to send back to the surface, we need to carry out the work of satellite satellite tracking, constantly, keep in touch with. Observation and forecasting basis of this work is the orbit of artificial satellite. System designed in this paper is aimed at the orbit simulation, short-term forecast system. The system uses three layer structure design, using ADO.NET Visual database programming technology in Studio.NET. combined with SQL Sever language, build the user interface layer, business layer and data storage layer. This system can provide basic information query function, satellite, the short-term prediction of orbit, the orbit simulation. First I through the network access to the basic data of low orbit satellites, provides the data basis for track forecast, and use SQL SERVER 2000 to establish the database, used the VB.NET data management required. And then to HAIYANG1 satellite as an example, the formula derivation of satellite orbit, algorithm, and the formula and the construction program, a group of ground. Finally, the technology of image processing technology and Visual Basic.NET database in combination, the ground, the code will be low orbit satellite orbit simulation, image displayed in the image, to achieve orbit prediction and simulation. LEO satellite orbit was simulated by the software Visual Basic.NET, we can see the movement of the image of low earth orbit satellites, understand its orbital motion. According to the prediction of the satellite position, we can easily find, tracking, observation satellite, or for the satellite to carry out the work. To provide a basis for our further understanding of the satellite, the satellite observations provide technical observations of convenience, so that they can feel to satellites is to fly in space, but also for other satellites or for a satellite to carry out anti satellite technology, provide basic technical support.
