Discussion On The Design Of Chinese Folk Art Exhibition Hall

The Chinese culture, both extensive and profound, dates back to ancient times. Our ancestor left many gorgeous folk arts for us with their great creativity. These folk arts record the development history of different nations in China and show the deep graceful and impassioned national feelings of Chinese ethnic peoples. With a long making history, the folk arts are the treasure of culture and art in China. For thousands of years, the industry of traditional folk arts has always been one of the characteristic industries which represent the culture of Chinese ethnic peoples. Based on these, how to better exhibit the characteristic charm of folk arts to show their cultural value, artistic value and how to design an outstanding exhibition hall for the folk arts are very important in the modern society.This paper explores the design of exhibition hall for the folk arts in China, with the starting point of exclusive store. We take the example of many excellent franchised stores of folk arts. Based on the deep analysis, we find the key points and notices during the design of exhibition hall for traditional folk arts; also we find the further thought for the development in future. We expect that the analyzed result will not only provide the theoretical foundation for the design of exhibition hall for folk arts but also help to exhibit the folk arts in China to demonstrate their cultural value, national culture and the characteristic charm.
