With the rapid development of military information, CAN-bus are widely used in weapons system because of its good real-time, high reliability and superior flexibility. Both stability and rapidity of response for arms in harsh environments are strengthened, which is in line with modern requirements for weapons. The widespread application of the CAN bus technology in various fields, which results in its more sophisticated technology, equipped with all kinds of CAN function chips more and more, and the technology is more and more advanced. Therefore, CAN bus technology need promotion in the design.This paper regards a type of opto-electronic tracker as the study background, only as a weapon system for detection and tracking, the opto-electronic tracker has a very high requirement in the aspects such as system accuracy, operation and control. In order to meet the requirements of a weapon system, in order to ensure internal and external data transfer of the opto-electronic tracker accuracy and timeliness in opto-electronic tracker design, designing TMS320F2812 DSP-core data communication board, utilizing fully the ascendant chip, combined with peripheral circuits, it can realize external and internal implementation of opto-electronic tracker and real-time messaging. Also, the photo-coupler isolation technology is used in the design, increasing the anti-jamming level of CAN-bus communication for the need of weapon development. The hardware platform of the communications system has rational structure, integrate functions, good reliability, high interchangeability and strong environmental adaptability. According to the characteristics of the system communication and the agreement requirements of data bus, based on this hardware platform, CAN communication software is design and developed.At present, this system has been running stably in the test. The testing data communication is reliable, resulting in a strong ability to adapt to various circumstances. In the design, the use of modularization makes the digital communication board as the reference for similar weapons system.
