Research Of Residential Indoor Display Design Based On Family Life Cycle

Home is a process of gradually build. Family life cycle is a series of process time from building to collapse. Different life cycle stages, family living needs, lifestyle, consumer behavior, and family members of physiological and sychological demand have different changes, the environment of residential interior space then will change in different degree. So, residential interior space as a place for family grew up, directly reflects the people in different stages of the family life.With the development of national economy and improvement of living quality, the design concept of "remodel Jane, high display" slowly seep into residential interior decoration which also become the mainstream of the interior design and is recognised by the vast number of occupants. Therefore, residential indoor display design is closely linked with family life. How to display the configuration to meet the demand of people living in different life cycle changes is main research content. In this study, on the basis of the main demand of family life, Parsed family life cycle and the theory related to residential indoor display design, and found the inner link between the two. Then we expounded residential indoor display design under the family life cycle theory from the design points, design elements, design principle. Finally, this paper discussed the characteristics of residential indoor display requirements in different stages of the family life cycle, enumerated the examples, exploratory summarized the design of residential indoor display in different stages, and lay a foundation to create a comfortable “home environment”.Through crosstab analysis of the family life cycle and residential indoor display design, the family life cycle theory is used in the design of the residential indoor display reasonably. Starting from the needs of the family, this paper put forward the beneficial train for each "home environment" design phase of family life cycle.
