The turbine is one of the most important equipment in the power plant. The stability of turbine determines the stability and safety of whole thermal power plant. TDM is also known as Turbine Diagnosis Management, TDM can monitoring and record the vibration data of turbine and important auxiliary equipment online. It is very important that the operation and maintenance team can analyze the recorded TDM data while the unit is still running. TDM data includes vibration’s amplitude, phase and spectrum, domain waveform. The TDM data is precious for vibration specialist to analyze the status of turbine and troubleshooting.In order to make TDM system more useful, TDM has been updated in this thesis. The VMS, Vibration Monitoring System, and TSI, Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation, were included in the updated TDM system. The updated TDM can make the turbine more stable and the unit maintenance more scientific. The auxiliary machine vibration detection system is integrated into the TDM system, the key equipment for vibration monitoring to more efficient value, ensure the normal, stable operation of the host and important auxiliary. Early detection of hidden dangers of accidents, the timely processing of abnormal vibration, so as to ensure the stable operation of long time units, improve the operation of the unit rate. A denies algorithm an improved positional PID control algorithm were introduced in the TDM system update. These two algorithms make the monitoring data more accurate and bypass valve control more rapidly and precisely, ensure that the abnormal state of bypass valve according to need, opened on time controlled under abnormal condition, ensure the safety of the unit.
