Study On The Division Method Of Gabbro Weathering Zone In Ji’nan West Railway Station Area

In order to solve the problem of how to precisely divide gabbro weathered zone in Ji’nan west railway station area,this paper deeply analyses the Ji’nan west railway station area gabbro weathered zone of zonality and regionality through collecting literature and data,the summary of various research results about gabbro weathered zone, and then using the theory of engineering geology, petrology, the trials of rock wave velocity test, rock weathering index test, point load strength test, standard penetration test, digital Logging which have been done at HengDa CBD project. By comparing the drilling results, field identification to comprehensive test methods, results are obtained as follows:1.The test datas of rock wave velocity test, rock weathering index test, point load strength test, standard penetration test can be divided zone of weathering basically according to the specification and identification of field core, but all that have limitations;2.Digital logging text analyses the image data in the borehole and convertes it into the various physical quantities which is more appropriate to the actual, digital logging text verifies the accuracy of the weathered zone division by qualitative and quantitative method;3.The gabbro weathering zone division recommended index are suggested by using the digital well logging method.The results of this paper have an important directive and practical significance for accurately dividing the gabbro weathering zone,similar lithology weathering zone and reasonably selecting foundation bearing layer.
