Developing wind power, photovoltaic and other new energy is the main way to solve the problem of the energy shortage of China. Wind power and photovoltaic has the characteristics of big randomness, strong volatility and hard to schedule. Large scale new energy accesses to the grid will impact the grid and affect the safe and stable operation of power system. Reducing carbon emissions, sustainable development is the consensus of all over the world. Thermal power unit is one of the important sources of carbon emissions. Carbon trading is the market mechanism to reduce carbon emissions around the world. Under the background of Gradually establishing and improving the mechanism of the carbon trading market in China, Researching economic dispatch of power system containing wind power and photovoltaic power considering carbon trading has important theoretical significance and practical significance. In this paper, the concrete research contents are as follows:(1) Studied the modeling of economic dispatch of power system containing wind power and photovoltaic. Introducing the environmental punishing cost to represent environmental benefits, introducing the spare capacity punishing cost to represent the influence of accessing wind power and photovoltaic power on spare capacity, established the model of economic dispatch of power system containing wind power and photovoltaic considering environmental punishing cost and spare capacity punishing cost. Using genetic algorithm to conduct the simulation calculation of economic dispatch optimization, verified the effectiveness of the proposed method.(2) Carbon trading is the market mechanism to reduce carbon emissions around the world. On the basis of the model of economic dispatch of power system containing wind power and photovoltaic considering environmental punishing cost and spare capacity punishing cost, introduced of a carbon trading model, and deeply discussed the change of spare capacity of the power system accessed wind power and photovoltaic power, established the model of economic dispatch of power system containing wind power and photovoltaic considering carbon trading and the change of spare capacity (referred to as" "the model considering carbon trading"). Then on the basis of discussing the impact of carbon trading price and unit quantity carbon distribution coefficient on the result of economic operation, establishing the determination method of optimal carbon carbon trading price and the optimal power distribution coefficient, used the adaptive immune genetic algorithm to conduct economic dispatch optimization. The simulation calculation shows that the model considering carbon trading not only can effectively weaken the volatility of the new energy, but also can effectively reduce carbon emissions and reduce power generation costs.(3) Using the model considering carbon trading and adaptive immune genetic algorithm, conducted the simulation calculation of economic dispatch of the power system of Zaozhuang. Firstly, conducted power prediction of huadian taierhchuang wind farm and photovoltaic power station. Secondly, used the model considering carbon trading and adaptive immune genetic algorithm to conduct the simulation calculation of economic dispatch. Calculation results of example simulation further verified the effectiveness of the proposed method.
