Steel structure is made of steel and steel plates by welding, bolting or riveting. There are many advantages comparing with other construction in use, design, construction such as comprehensive economic advantages, low cost and the characteristics that they can be moved at any time. But With the extensive application of the steel structure, the beam-column joints often occur brittle failure. Even if the beam-column joints can be repaired, the cost is higher. Therefore, the new steel structure node can effectively reduce the beam column joints of brittle failure, and also can reduce the cost of repairing.This paper puts forward a new type of beam-column joints in the self centering steel structure and it is called beam column node energy consumption of nodes-- web. First of all, through the summary of the research background of beam column joints, research and development prospect of domestic and abroad is introduced, there is deeper theoretical research on the new self centering steel structure beam-column joints. Then, by using the finite element theory, one of the node types of numerical simulation analysis in unidirectional loads using ANSYS, obtained the displacement of nodes in the loads, change of stress and plastic zone production, damage until the entire model. Finally when the distance of the prestressed steel strand and the quantity, the coefficient of friction are prestressed initial size and endowed the different value, there are a few respects respectively by ANSYS in more different size of the multiple model for finite element simulation analysis. The studies get the type of node under low cycle reciprocating load curve, skeleton curve and cloud, studies the type of node energy dissipation capacity and ductility at the same time, the effect factors of these two aspects is also studied.This type of research was supported by the node can satisfy the basic seismic design principles proposed specification; coefficient of friction can increase the carrying capacity of nodes, energy dissipation capacity, and "pre-stiffness"; but ductility and "post-stiffness" on the node is not large; the initial prestressing strand increases the bearing capacity can be increased, but if it is too large will cause prestressed beam section earlier yield, ductility and energy dissipation will reduce the appearance of nodes; make strand number and increasing the spacing can significantly improve the structure, "the late stiffness", but will result in lower energy consumption node capabilities.There is certain practical significance in understanding and structure transformation of this kind of structure design theory based on the ANSYS of self centering steel structure beam column joint simulation, and providing a reference for the science building structure optimization.
