Be accompanied with the continuous development of industrialization and urbanization in our country and the escalating of the consumption structure,the demand for energy is growing recently. So the poorly energy reserves and the weak environmental capacity become the most important factor which limits the development speed of our country. The advanced technologies are needed to get the first chance during booming time of the global green economy and low carbon technology. The ultra super-critical unit is the national important industrial infrastructure and it runs in a safe,efficient and reliable will play a key role in ensuring energy supply. Compare with other thermal power units with the same capacity, the efficiency of the ultra super-critical unit improves obviously. Therefore,it would be the inevitable choice to study the advanced control technology of the ultra super-critical unit.Predictive control is a new control method relatively and develops rapidly in recent decades.It can get good effectiveness without using the object model which makes it widely used by actual process control field. It has got a huge success recently and can be used to solve control problems with optimization demands and complicated constrains. In this article, we use the advanced control of ultra super-critical large once-through boiler unit as the background. As an important national industrial infrastructure,the unit capacity of the ultra super-critical large once-through boiler unit has already improved to 1000MW.And the ultra super-critical large once-through boiler unit is a fast multiple variable controlled system with high temperature and pressure.The coupling of the process is extremely closed.So the control system of ultra super-critical large once-through boiler unit is a typical system of multiple input-multiple output,nonlinear,strong coupling control system.It is needed to get several targets and conditions at the same time to ensure the unit working safely and reliably and a part of thermal parameters can’t be measured directly. So the stability and economy of the ultra super-critical large once-through boiler unit strongly depend on a more advanced automatic control system with an advanced control algorithm. Under this background,this article apply a new predictive control algorithm based on Laguerre function. Study proposed single-input and multiple-input constraint predictive control plans which apply to the the ultra super-critical large once-through boiler unit and hold a series of simulations to verify the effectiveness of the plans.
