In recent years, the mathematical model of VCE has been a research focus in the fields of aerospace and military industry. Its core is to simulate the work-ing mode of VCE by establishing its mathematical model and solve the equa-tion of higher-dimension non-linear balance equations to maintain its working condition by putting forward appropriate algorithm. As to the establishment of mathematical model, the component-level model has been prevailing. By analyzing the gas flow and energy consumption and sorting out characteris-tic quantity and relationship of each component, the study established VCE component-level model. To provide solution to solve the issue of non-linear balance equations, a number of scholars have proposed many important meth-ods. For instance, the traditional Newton-Raphson iterative algorithm, genetic algorithm, hybrid genetic algorithm and BP Neural network algorithm. The present study started with the cutting-edge particle swarm optimization(PSO) and further proposed hybrid chaos-particle swarm optimization(HCPSO). Fo-cusing on the characteristic that PSO algorithm relying a lot on the initial value, HCPSO used the exhaustive search method which corrects the initial value to select the specific scope of the initial value. By concentrating that PSO algorithm convergent fast at initial stage and fall into local optimum at later stage, then it introduced thought of chaos into the model in order to make PSO algorithm go out of stable condition after local convergence at later stage and continue to find optimal solution. Meanwhile, it added half-chaos condition between chaos and stable condition so as to process calculation even when the degree of chaos was relatively low.At last, the feasibility and validity of this method is verified by statistical evidences. Based on the numerical experiment, it can be seen that the method mentioned above is equipped with the capability of searching optimal solution.
