The heat transfer equipment of circulating cooling water system often cause scaling, the scaling not only reduce the efficient of heat ex-changer, but also corrode the pipe of equipment, it will brings economic loss and waste of resources. Currently, chemical cleaning has the shortcomings of high cost, corrosion and environment harm, high frequency pulse electric field technology causes lots of attention because of the easy operation and the economic and environmental protection.In this paper, the mechanism of scaling and nature of water are analyzed, the main factors of scaling is solubility of fouling, so the scaling can be controlled by changing the solubility. Under the action of the high frequency pulse electric field, the changes of various particles in the circulating water are analyzed, five different mechanisms of scale trapping of high frequency pulse electric field is compared. The high frequency pulsed electric field provides the energy for the water, hydrogen bond in large molecular clusters is broken due to the cause, the dissolving capacity of the water rises, thereby the fouling reduces.According to the cleaning mechanism of high pulse electric field, the high frequency pulse electric field circulating water scale system are designed, and its electric field distribution is simulated to optimize the outer net scaling of the equipment. The high frequency pulse power is designed according to equipment requirements, its output voltage is between 30V to 60V, and the frequency is between 30 to 60KHz. In the end, the contrast experiment of high pulse electric field circulating water scale equipment designed, within a certain range, the treatment effect show tangible result with the risi electric field strength and frequency. It is showed that the constant negative outer net can adsorb particles of scale commendably through the contrast experiment.
