With the continuous increase of vehicle production, scarcity of petroleum resources and environmental pollution has become increasingly evident. Pure Electric Vehicles, with the advantages of high energy efficiency and being environmental friendly, have drawn extensive attentions of countries around the world. Test of Pure Electric Vehicle drive system is of great importance because it is one of the key technologies in the development of Pure Electric Vehicles, and the Pure Electric Vehicle drive system test platform provides a solution to the above key research problem.Different from the traditional test platform, the unique characteristics of the Pure Electric Vehicle drive system must be considered. In order to build an adequate platform for the test with matching drive system parameters and control strategy, requirements of Dynamic Performance Testing must be met, and the test being conducted under the national standardThis paper focuses on the controlling strategy of the Pure Electric Vehicle drive system test platform. A dynamics model of the electric vehicles is built, and the electric vehicle balance equation is established using various resistances measured during the driving process of the vehicle, based on which the electric inertia conversion way is analyzed. A comparative analysis of the electric simulation inertia control strategy is conducted. Based on current research status of the controlling strategy of the test platform, the control strategy of Pure Electric Vehicle drive system test platform is proposed.According to the scheme of Pure Electric Vehicle test platform, the designs of both hardware and software of the test bed are described in detail. In the hardware design part of this paper, the basic principle of test bed is introduced, and the function of each component are analyzed; While in the software part, the PC software Lab VIEW is introduced according to the optimization of the control strategy of electric vehicle drive system test platform and the corresponding design of program control process. The programming of PC is completed, and the program of communication, data collection and debugging with the motor controller is realized. Finally, a test run of the motor system is conducted using the test platform constructed above, covering load test, efficiency test and temperature rise test, thus test of the performance of the motor is completed. A comparative analysis between the test results and the simulation results and parameters of the motor shows that the design of the test-platform can completely meet the demand of Electric Vehicle drive system test.
