With the rapid development of economy in China, the existing reinforced concrete bridges’ problems such as concrete aging, breakage, reinforced corrosion caused by the environment factor became more and more serious in the process of service. How to assessment the bridge’s service life scientifically and reasonably became a world-wide issue. The study on the existing reinforced concrete bridges’ reliability evolution theory and method has not only the significant theoretical significance, but also has the considering engineering practical value. Starting from the effect on the bridge structure of reinforced concrete bridges by the concrete carbonation, analyzing the reliability evolution methods, and the main contents are described as follow:(1)Related present theoretical study of bridge’s reliability on the basis of previous studies synthetically are all discussed and a comment on present service status of reinforced concrete bridges wad made, as well as the disease problems those effect the service life of bridge are all discussed in this paper, carbonation of concrete and corrosion of reinforcement are both included. Through a comprehensive analysis of existing reinforced concrete bridges reliability assessment of the status quo, summed up the significance of the theory on the reliability assessment of existing bridges concrete carbonation assessment; Through a comprehensive analysis of the research status about the present reliability assessment of the reinforce concrete bridges, the significance of reliability evaluation theory on the present assessment of bridges concrete carbonation is concluded in this paper.(2)Analyzed all kinds of factors which caused concrete carbonation. A summary to the advantages and disadvantages of the concrete carbonation calculation model is made. Different carbonization depth calculation models are selected to analyze through collecting literature research data.(3)Concrete carbonation remains was introduced as a random variable integrating the latest carbonation span-life theory, and the functionality was built based on the bridge carbonization calculation reliable index, then forming a formula of reliable index.(4)Based on a concrete continuous beam bridge in Hunan province, the measured data were analyzed in this paper, verified the relationship between different concrete carbonation depth and intensity in same environment. Aiming to provide a carbonation span-life forecasting analysis by related specifications and reference about this sort of bridge through the data analysis, considering the carbonation depth difference caused by concrete strength in disparate parts of the bridge, and the influence of carbonation remains, as well as, reliable index formula should be used to calculate the bridge’s reliability.
