Accelerometer is an inertial instrument to measure the acceleration of its support. Under the ideal condition, the output of accelerometer shall be in proportion to acceleration of input. But actually, error in measurement will be caused inevitably due to many disturbing factors. The deviation of outputs of accelerometer caused by environment temperature cannot be neglected. In this thesis, we studied the estimation of parameters and static temperature compensation of quartz flexible accelerometer.The calibration test in gravity field of accelerometer is the basis of other testing experiments. Usually, the low performance parameters of accelerometer are measured by means of it. And these parameters are very important to improve the accuracy of accelerometer. Therefore, the experiment in gravity field of quartz flexible accelerometer in a long-term has been done combined with the existing test equipments and conditions. The mathematical model of quartz flexible accelerometer is given based on the characteristics of the experiment.In order to estimate parameters of the accelerometer, the total least squares and the artificial fish swarm algorithm have been applied. Through simulation analysis, the two methods can demarcate effectively and the calibration accuracy is higher than traditional methods in certain conditions.In view of the accelerometer is influenced by environment temperature, the temperature model is established. The total least squares and the artificial fish swarm algorithm are applied to calculate the temperature coefficients which are related to temperature of quartz flexible accelerometer. The bias, scale factor and accelerometer output have been compensated with the temperature coefficients. The temperature coefficients and temperature model are also implemented in the output compensation of accelerometer which is tested under other temperatures. The results show that the temperature model and temperature coefficients can compensate for the outputs accelerometer which works on different temperatures.
