As the brain and neural network of the articulated dump truck, the performance and quality of network is directly related to the safety of running and quality of working. Therefore, this design uses distributed control system,which is more advanced. In the distributed control system, the control units are installed near the corresponding measuring devices or actuator, in order to achieve the dispersion of the control, and the relative concentration of the management.As the most important feature, the hydraulic system is related to a series of functions such as lifting, unloading. Hydraulic controller is the important part to achieve the corresponding operating conditions.In order to achieve timely and reliable control of the articulated dump truck hydraulic system, this paper designs a hydraulic controller based on distributed control system.Features of hydraulic controllers generally are collecting sensor information, feeding back, displaying and recording, as well as to achieve control instructions. Specifically, the hydraulic controller collects hydraulic oil temperature, liquid level, value of each pressure sensor and switching of air filter or oil filter, and then sends these information to the vehicle controller by CAN bus; while the same information is displayed on its own LCD screen, and recorded in an external storage device immediately.In addition, the hydraulic controller receives the command of vehicle control to achieve appropriate working condition by controlling the solenoid valve.To achieve these design goals, the paper analyzes the functions of each module to complete and selects the appropriate parts, designs the corresponding hardware circuits and the execution programs. Based on the program of each module, the main program achieves the full functionality of the entire hydraulic controller.In this paper, the use of the host computer is to verify the communication between hydraulic controller and vehicle controller. The host computer software is programmed in Visual Studio 2013. It can achieve smooth communication with the hydraulic controller; displays the collected information timely; and sends instruction successfully.Finally, each function of the complete designs should be tested. In order to verify the functionality of hardware and software which are designed above, as well as the stability of operation. These features are tested, such as distributed node signals, monitoring software, LCD monitors, external storage and other performances.
