With the development and application of the permanent magnet material, the permanent magnet motor is taking place of the traditional electrically excited motor in some significant field and this trend will be irreversible. Thus, researching the motor structure plays a key role in development of motor. Compared with other permanent magnet motor, Halbach permanent magnet motor with its inherent excellent properties show a better performance, and it is necessary to do some research on Halbach permanent magnet motor structure. Because the biggest difference between the Halbach permanent magnet motor and normal permanent magnet motor is the structure of the permanent magnet rotor pole, finding the relationship between this structures of the permanent magnet rotor pole and the variation tendency of the rotor pole static magnetic field is required to offer the theoretical and data support when Halbach permanent magnet motor are designed and optimized.Based on equivalent magnetic charge method, rotor pole static magnetic field of Halbach permanent magnet motor is built in this dissertation. Because the permanent magnet shape of permanent magnet motor rotor pole is often like tile, it is difficult to calculate the curved surface integral in the formula when the equivalent magnetic charge method is applied immediately to gain the rotor pole static magnetic field. Therefore, this dissertation shows how to use the simple formula of a rectangular permanent magnet to solve that problem and acquire the result of rotor pole static magnetic field by limit integral method.Based on the equivalent magnetic charge method, the variation tendency of the radial component of rotor pole static magnetic field can be gained in different case of the permanent magnet rotor pole structure by changing the four influence factors:with the proportion of main pole increasing in each pole, the radial component of Halbach permanent magnet motor rotor pole static magnetic field will grow, and THD will firstly decline and then increase; when the magnetization angle of the assistant pole increases, the fundamental radial component of rotor pole static magnetic field will firstly increase and then decrease, but THD will be opposite, which is firstly decline and then increase; with thickness of the permanent magnet pole becoming thicker and thicker, the fundamental radial component of rotor pole static magnetic field will increase and THD will decrease; the increasing distance between the target position and the outside surface of the rotor pole will lead to the decline of the fundamental radial component of rotor pole static magnetic field and THD.Due to the small harmonic content of Halbach permanent magnet motor rotor pole static magnetic field, there is no need to adopt the distributed winding to weaken the THD of rotor pole static magnetic field, and the concentrated winding can be thus applied in Halbach permanent magnet motor structure. This dissertation will describe the combination of the Modular stator concentrated winding and the Halbach rotor pole and the optimization by unequal tooth widths method, which can improve the induced electromotive force under the premise of small harmonic content.
