With the surging tide of environmental protection,electric vehicles have been more and more widely used.As a key component of the drive system of electric vehicles,the drive motor attracts more and more researchers' attention and extensive research.The current drive motors for electric vehicles include asynchronous motors and permanent magnet synchronous motors.Permanent magnet synchronous motors have many advantages including high efficiency,high power density,and thus have been applied more.Because the drive motor not only needs the above advantages but also has a wide speed range and a high output torque,the motor is required to have a good field-weakening ability.In this paper,the drive motor is designed as a consequence-pole dual rotor single stator axial flux permanent magnet synchronous motor.Mainly analyze and research the following contents:Firstly,this paper introduced the basic structure and characteristics of the axial flux motor,and elaborated the research status of different types of axial flux motors at home and abroad.Then according to the requirements of the electric vehicle on the drive motor,the electromagnetic design of the axial flux permanent magnet synchronous motor with the single stator and the double rotor was completed.Then,a software ansoft was used to establish a three-dimensional model of a dual-rotor single-stator axial flux motor,the no-load performance,load performance and the advantages and disadvantages of the stator steel at a stator core with and without orientation were analyzed and compared.Next,a dual-rotor single-stator axial flux motor with a consequence-pole rotor structure was studied.Ansoft was used to simulate the consequence pole motors with different width ratios of permanent magnets and iron blocks.The cogging torque and field weakening performance of the motor were compared and analyzed.Compared with the traditional axial flux motor,the advantages and disadvantages were analyzed,which provided reference value for the research of the consequence pole motor.Finally,using Bertotti's iron consumption calculation method,the finite element simulation was combined with it to calculate the iron losses of the consequence poledual rotor single stator axial flux permanent magnet synchronous motor and the traditional dual rotor single stator axial flux motor,and the magnetic losses were calculated.Hysteresis loss,eddy current loss and other loss parameters were got.Compare the advantages and disadvantages and performance of the two motors.The rationality of the design of the consequence pole axial flux motor was verified.
