Combining solar energy with heat pump is a kind heating sysytem which use renewable energy, it’s a new technology of energy conservation. Based on domestic and foreign revevant research, puts forward a improved system named solar energy and double source heat pump combined system which can both use the heat quantity of hot water and outdoor air as a low temperature heat source. It also set up double heat storage tank with different size, one is used to provide hot water to direct heating, the other one is used to provide hot water to the evaporator of water source. In this paper, research the application of system and optimize configuration, provide a new method and theoretical basis for the heat system design of similar engineering.According to the actual building model of railway station and based on TRNSYS software platform, established computer simulation models with the solar energy and double source heat pump combined heating system. The results indicate that the heating performance of double source heat pump is obviously better than air source heat pump. It can effectively save the energy of system and improve COP. Meanwhile, set up double water tank can improve the efficiency of collector and solar assurance.For the whole system, describe the running conditions in typical day and whole heating season, the collector efficiency and solar assurance of system is 52.4% and 77.92% in standard day, it can supply more than half heat demand of Building.The collector efficiency and solar assurance of system is 41.73% and 36.64% in coldest day. Based on the heating season, the solar assurance of system is 48.69%.This paper also makes simulation study on operating characteristics of this system, analyzes the impact of collector unit, heat storage unit, and auxiliary heat source unit on the performance of the double source heat pump. Based on the different objective function, get the optimal value of collector incidence and area, heat storage tank volume and the opening time of air source heat pump.The solar assurance and COP increases of optimal system and the total energy consumption decreases, which improves the energy saving and efficiency.
