The Application Of The BIM On The Viaduct Maintenance Project

In order to adapt to the present situation of the rapid growth of vehicle’s number in modern society, more and more large-scale urban viaduct appeared, compared with the crossing bridge and overpass, the characteristics of large-scale viaduct is the big facilities volume, variety of structure types, complex environment. How to carry out high quality of viaduct maintenance has been a new subject in the municipal maintenance work. At the same time, the 3d BIM model, the 3d geographic information model and the collaborative document information model has been used widely in the field of building, and the assets information model formed of these three kinds of common information model offers a good carrier for realizing the control of the whole life cycle of building from the project, design, construction to operation and dismantle.In this paper, we use the daily maintenance of the circular viaduct and road as an example, analyzing the present working situation of the municipal company, clearing the information demand of maintenance, to find out the reasonable use in roads and Bridges maintenance consequently. According to the actual demand of municipal corporation in maintenance work, we begin with the basic information maintenance, patrol maintenance, construction plan maintenance, detection task management, daily maintenance management, digital transferring, using the BIM model and geographic information system to realize the maintenance of roads and Bridges informatization, and to control the whole life cycle of the circular viaduct, so that we can support decision, operation and resources allocation, and enhaunce timeliness and controlling, to ensure that the circular viaduct in the management process form efficient and high quality image, provide the standard of maintenance work, offer experience to the public facilities and asset management of wisdom city.
