Axle box bearings, as the most important supporting components of high-speed train running gear, have significant impact on the safe, stable, efficient operation of high-speed train with their service behavior, dynamics performance and working life. Axle box bearings receive huge vibrating load of rail-vehicle caused by various frequencies of random combinations during the operation. So that the axle box bearings often fail to reach the expected service quality and requirements of operational life. Previous researches rarely focus on the failure mechanism of High-Speed Train under the vibrating condition. Thus, developing a High-Speed Train axle box bearing test bench and discovering the failure mechanism of High-Speed Train under the vibrating and coupling condition become a new issue in this research field.This paper aims to establish an original High Speed Train axle box bearing test bench under the condition of vibration. And this paper focus on the test mode and method in dynamic loading under vibration, analyzing the dynamic response and transmitting relation of vibration between the inner components of the axle box bearings and researching the coupling contacts between different vibrating conditions and the failure of axle box bearing. This paper completed the project design and structure design of 20T water-cooling vibrating test bench under the condition of geometric and loading restraint, including the design of vibrating table, spindle, loading system, mast. This thesis utilizes ANSYS software to analyze stress of the spindle and mast, accomplishes the 3D model of the test bench. This work provided the feasible test bench for research and operating status monitoring to evaluate the rolling bearings’service conditions from the vibration characteristics tested and acquire the failure threshold values.
