The rocked sled is the ground test equipment with the rocket engine as power, which taxies with high speed on the construction of the special ground rail way. It’s the ground test system to solve the experimental study of speed and accelerated speed of weapon system. Experimental verification and assessment of missile warhead end damage effect are one of the most important fields in the rocket sled test. In order to accurately simulate end damage effect of missile warhead, the warhead was required to hit the target separately, to separate and increase the space between it and the rocket sled rapidly before the warhead hit the target. The paper put forward the request on the missile-vehicle separation technology of the end of rocket sled test. Currently, there was two mature methods realizing the missile-vehicle separation of warhead and rocket sled in the course. But, the missile-vehicle separation could not be realized by the existing methods with the compact and small structure of rocket sled, and it is necessary to develop a new missile-vehicle separation device. The research work and results mainly included four parts below.1) The scheme design of missile-vehicle separation device in the rocket sled test was studied. The paper presented a method to realize missile-vehicle separation by increasing the space between the warhead and rocket sled in the vertical (height direction), and the overall scheme of installation of the guiding device in the end of straight rail. According to the respective state after the separation of warhead and rocket sled, the running direction of rocket sled was changed by the guide device, and the free flight of warhead does not be effected. The separation of missile-vehicle in rocket sled test was realized. The warhead hit the target separately, and purpose of the test was achieved.2) The design of the guide rail, fixing device, supporting device and other key parts of the structure in the missile-vehicle separation device was completed. The key parameters of guide rail were determined by theoretical research and the formula. The structure design of the separation device was completed and the three-dimensional entity model was established.3) The structural static analysis, modal analysis and transient dynamic analysis of the calculation physical model of missile-vehicle separation device were completed. The paper completed the structural static analysis of maximum stress loading condition, the modal analysis of missile-vehicle separation device, and the analysis of the dynamic response of the missile-vehicle separation process of the same quality and different speed conditions in monorail rocket sled and dual-rocket sled. The simulation results was analyzed and studied to determine the feasibility of the guide missile-vehicle separation device.4) The verification test was carried out by the dual-rocket sled test for the missile-vehicle separation device, and the missile-vehicle separation device was verified to be feasibility and practicality.
