| With the rapid development of precision and ultra-precision technology, gas lubrication technology has been arised.Therefore, gas lubrication bearing technology in various fields has a very broad prospect in development and application. But, because of the complexity of the gas lubrication bearing, the study of its properties is particularly slow, especially in experimental study of static pressure gas thrust bearing which lack of the effective methods and corresponding equipment to research the gas film of bearing clearance, it is necessary to explore a set of research methods and corresponding experiment equipment for static pressure gas thrust bearing.Firstly, this paper introduced the development process and application prospects of gas lubrication technology, and elaborated the relevant knowledge of gas lubrication bearing in detail. Then, expounded the design principle and the process of development and assembly of performance test experiment system for the gas lubrication thrust bearing. Finally, completed the related experiments, and analyzed and compared the experiment results. According to the experimental results, modified the experiment system repeatedly to measure the performance indicators of gas lubrication thrust bearing accurately. The main study of this article includes the following aspects:1)Familiar with the domestic and foreign development, advantages and significance of this application technology and the basic concept of this topic by looking up relevant reference books, papers, et al. Based on the current existence problems, put forward the importance of this topic.2)According to the characteristics of performance test experiment for the gas lubrication thrust bearing, designed the experiment system.3)According to the designed experiment system scheme, purchased the required laboratory equipment, and processed the corresponding parts.4)Assembled the test bench, and tested the performance of gas lubrication thrust bearing.5)Analyzed the results of experiments, plot the corresponding graphs. Then, according to the results, improved the experiment test system.Through the experiment,proves that the system has a good reproducibility and accuracy. |
