Prefabricated prestressed concrete multistory frame structure has a wide application prospect, which is appropriate for sustainable development of construction industry in China. However, the research in China and abroad about prefabricated prestressed concrete multistory frame structure system is concentrating on the static test and calculation analysis of the prestressed concrete beam-column joint. The research about the whole seismic behavior analysis of this structure has hardly any been reported before. Moreover, there are some factors having negative effects on harmony work of assembled monolithic floor and frame structure, which are the small lap area of composite beam and precast slab, the reversed arch of precast slab with the action of efficient prestressing tendon, butt seam and so on. Then, the seismic behavior of prefabricated prestressed concrete multistory frame structure would be affected. Therefore, it is necessary to carry on analytical research on the whole seismic behavior of prefabricated prestressed concrete multistory frame structure.First, this paper summarizes failure law and founds aseismic measures of building structure, through analyzing the seismic damage that occurred in Kobe, Tangshan, Wenchuan ect. Secondly, it carries out the comparative analysis of prefabricated prestressed concrete multistory frame structure and the cast-in-place frame structure by using large universal finite element software SAP2000. In order to explore the seismic behavior of prefabricated prestressed concrete multistory frame structure under the frequent and rare earthquake, the paper researches its dynamic characteristics including mode shape, natural frequency; seismic responses including the storey shear force, the storey deformation, inter-story elastic displacement; time-history curves including apex maximum displacement and acceleration, column base shearing force; the plastic development of structure; hysteretic curves; accumulated hysteresis dissipated energy and so on. Finally, on the basis of structure study of beam-slab joint, butt seam and composition plane; improvement opinions for prefabricated prestressed concrete multistory frame structure have been proposed.The analysis results are listed in the following:(1) The actual earthquake damage of prefabricated prestressed concrete multistory structure dues to precast slab and its connective component having not enough strength, and being weak in floor connection.(2) Under the frequent earthquake, the performance of prefabricated prestressed concrete multistory frame structure is similar to the cast-in-place multistory frame structure, but excellent performance under the rare earthquake.(3) At the joints of beam-plate, it should add reverse edge to composite beam and extend enough anchorage length of reinforcement at the bottom of precast slab; at the location of butt seam, it should change rectangular surface of tooth profile to circle and add seamed reinforcement; on the composition plane of precast slab, it may change longitudinal lattice bar with longitudinal fin.At last, according to the result of seismic behavior analysis of the structure, the paper prospects application and research issue of this structure.
