Wind power generation is increasing in the proportion of global secondhand energy industry year by year. Recent years have seen rapid development in the technology of permanent magnet synchronous generator that is simply constructed, low cost in maintenance and high efficiency. This paper will come up with a novel maximum power point tracking resolution to the problem of key technology of wind power generation system, which enables the control strategy to be graphically configured with problem-oriented algorithm components, executed across multi platforms and is functioned with visual remote real-time monitoring.To achieve the goals above, this paper focuses on the research on PMSG wind power converting system. Firstly, the structural characteristics of a synchronous wind power generation system are analyzed and its mathematic model is built up. Afterwards this paper makes maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control the research priority and analyzes two different methods of MPPT control algorithms—— PSIM simulation and Matlab simulation, sums up their advantages and disadvantages, explain their boundaries. Then according to difficulties of the study, based on the SEPIC circuit algorithm principle, this paper introduces a novel industry control universal configuration technology which can be applied on multi platforms——IAP control technology and designs a SEPIC circuit configuration component using IAP’s reconfiguration technology, the component is tested and its validity is proofed. In the end, this paper conducts simulation study in the PMSG wind power converting system on the IAP platform, the adopt MPPT control algorithms are constant speed mountain climbing algorithm and variable speed mountain climbing algorithm, thereafter analyzes the maximum power point tracing control performance of PMSG wind power converting system under different wind conditions, The results of IAP simulation test is compared with that of a known case of PMSG system study, the control performances of two MPPT algorithms are compared which show their own features, the validity that the MPPT control algorithm simulation research can be done on IAP platform is verified.The experimental results show that it is an effective way to develop the wind power generation system automation technology that uses IAP to design and develop MPPT control algorithm in a graphical component configuration way, because the results of IAP simulation can be directly transferred to real hardware controller, besides, on-line analysis and optimization can be achieved during the working process of wind power generator system on IAP, It supplies a new alternative to the engineering realization of MPPT control algorithm.
