DCLR is a substance most similar with TLA in properties. Hence, the study on new technology that the blends with DCLR and asphalt are secondarily developed to an asphalt modifier which is used for replacing the TLA to improve the asphalt properties has very important scientific significance and application value. For this reason,in this paper, the dynamic shear rheometer, bending beam rheometer, infrared spectroscopy, gel chromatography and other test equipment are used, mainly for the following studies: the technical performance of raw materials; the performance comparison of DCLR and TLA modified asphalt; he performance comparison of DCLR and TLA modified asphalt mortar;the improvement on the performance of DCLR modified asphalt at low temperature.After the analysis of the macroscopic and microscopic properties on the materials, DCLR and TLA modified asphalt,and the analysis of the various properties of modified asphalt mortar, the article made the following conclusions:(1) DM-70, SK-90 asphalt and TLA is an unsaturated hydrocarbon, and DCLR containing certain carboxylic acid, hydroxy, a benzene ring and a small amount of long chain saturated hydrocarbons, alkanes and cycloalkanes.(2) The DM-70, SK-90 asphalt and TLA is more suitable at the rate of asphalt four components.(3) The molecular weight distribution of DCLR and asphalt is different in the forms, DCLR is a small molecule material, and relatively uniform, while the DM-70, SK-90 asphalt and TLA is a macromolecular substance, and poor uniformity.(4) DCLR and TLA can improve the high temperature properties of asphalt, but there are certain damage to their low temperature performance and fatigue performance. Relatively speaking, the influence of DCLR asphalt performance is much greater than the influence of TLA on Asphalt Performance.(5) DCLR and TLA modified asphalt is mainly physical modification, not chemically modified.(6) DCLR and TLA can significantly improve the high-temperature performance of asphalt mortar, but mortar fatigue performance, low temperature performance damage. The mineral powder to join also can improve the high temperature performance of asphalt mortar, as well as damage the fatigue properties and low temperature performance of asphalt mortar.(7) In the study, in order to improve low temperature performance of DCLR modified asphalt, this study use the asphalt modifier, such as SBR, SBS, rubber powder and so on, to make modified asphalt compound,and explore the best content, the best preparation and the best ratio to achieve the purpose of improving the low temperature properties of asphalt.
