With the human survival and development, the restriction of resources and environment is increasingly highlighted. Saving energy and reducing costs have become a topic that more and more people pay close attention to. With the development of frequency conversion technology, excellent energy-saving features turn out to be a necessity and consensus. Applying this technology to the hydraulic system can not only simplify complex volumetric speed control system, but also improve efficiency of the hydraulic system.Through the simulation study on hydraulic variable frequency system with the help of AMESim, every pressure characteristic in the process of running this system can be accurately demonstrated, based on which the parameters of PID controller and the structure of the system can be improved. Thus making the pressure-characteristics curve of this system closer to the ideal value. The subject built the mathematical model of the important link of hydraulic variable frequency system, and carried out a simulation study on hydraulic variable frequency system with Simulink. In this paper, the stability of the system, V/F time-domain features and the features of closed loop PID control dynamic response have been analyzed. With the analysis, how the control strategy of hydraulic variable frequency system impact the performance of the system can be better understood. This study provided a theoretical basis for the improvement of the stability at low speed, the quickness and response of start and reversing, the speed regulation precision and efficiency of the hydraulic variable frequency system. In addition, it provided a technical reference for the design of variable frequency system.
