Cement industry is a national large energy consumption, and the key of cement production enterprise energy saving is the waste heat power generation technology. Waste heat power generation system will be in the process of cement calcinations recycling waste heat into electricity, as important supplements of the cement production process consume electricity. Because of the waste heat power generation system, there are many unstable factors in the process of work, and its excitation system and valve control system of coordinated control greatly influence on the efficiency and stability of the waste heat power generation. Therefore, development of waste heat generator excitation system and valve control system coordinated control technology research, to improve the cement production enterprise power supply stability and economy is of great significance.Waste heat generating set control system is a complex nonlinear system, traditional control strategy is difficult to meet the requirements for the design and control of quality, seeking a better performance, in particular, has strong robustness of the new control theory and method, and apply it to the power system has important theoretical and practical significance. Because of the waste heat power generation special working environment, there are a lot of uncertain interference factors, therefore, this article adopts sliding mode variable structure has good suppression characteristics of the internal parameters and external disturbance control technique to control the waste heat power generation units.In this paper, on the basis of summarizing the current research status of waste heat generating set control system, For single machine infinite power system model with uncertain parameters and external disturbance, established the mathematical model of waste heat power generation units, and based on the sliding mode variable structure control theory and method, proposed to use the exponential terminal sliding mode variable structure control method to improve the waste heat generating set control system, design of the excitation control system and the valve control system, and analyze the control effect.To ensure the transmission of electrical energy has good transient stability, improve energy utilization efficiency of cement plant, on the basis of using exponential terminal sliding mode variable structure control method to establish the excitation controller and valve controller, presents excitation and valve coordinated control strategy, implementation of active power, reactive power and power factor of the smooth adjustment, achieve electric power stability and energy conservation. The simulation results show that the proposed control strategy can restrain the oscillation quickly, effectively improve the robustness of control system, achieved the expected control effect, have a broad application prospect.
