Steel H-beams with corrugated web is a kind of relatively novel section bar, its outstanding characteristic is the corrugated web.On accout of the properties of the corrugated steel plate, steel H-beams with corrugated web can obtain larger out-of-plane stiffness and resistance to shear buckling bearing capacity. At the same time the web thickness is thinner(1-3mm),and it does’ t need to set the stiffener, which saves steel, and the economic benefit is remarkable. There is a good development prospect for Steel H-beams with corrugated web. Connection node has an important role in steel structure design, in practical mechanical characteristicsthe beam-column connection is between rigid connection and articulated connection,so the semi-rigid considering is more realistic.Semi-rigid connection has the advantages of convenient and simple installation, installation without welds, good deformation performance and the ability of energy dissipation capacity, etc. so the semi-rigid connection is suitable for seismic design of the node. But at the moment the study of behaviors of semi-rigid extended end-plate connections of H-beams with corrugated webs is less.This article selects the semi-rigid extended end-plate connections method. Node finite element model is established by using ANSYS software,and apply the one-way loading and cyclic loading, respectively, and study the static and hysteretic performance,which has certain reference value for the application and promotion of Steel H-beams with corrugated web.First of all, do finite element analysis about external extended end plate connection node, and set up the node mode in contrast to reference test by using ANSYS software to study the performance under static load. Compare with the finite element value and test value of the reference,and their alignment is higher, which confirms the applicability of the modeling method of finite element model and loading mechanism in the process of numerical simulation in article;secondly, Establish the finite element mode of the semi-rigid extended end-plate connections of H-beams with corrugated webs model to study the performance under static load. The stress nephograms of components of the node are obtained, and analyze the stress distribution of components. Draw the bending moment-rotation curve and analyze the behaviors of the beam-column joints. And then adjust the thickness of end plate, width of end plate, diameter of bolts, pitch of bolts,anti-sliding coefficients, pretension and height of beam web, to analyze their the impact of moment rotation curve. Finally, research the hysteretic of semi-rigid extended end-plate connections of H-beams with corrugated webs and analyze the parameters(the thickness of end plate, diameter of bolts and anti-sliding coefficients) and draw the skeleton curve.
