Research On The Optimization Of Public Transport Scheduling

With the development of economy the urbanization process of our country has accelerated, and urban traffic congestion problem is increasingly outstanding. The relatively economic and effective way to solving the traffic congestion is vigorously develop public transportation, improving the proportion of the use of public transportation at present. Bus enterprise operation management is the core of bus dispatching, bus scheduling optimization is to improving the public transportation business scheduling level, enhancing public transportation attractive key points. At first this paper introduced the characteristic of bus passenger flow and the rule in each period,considering bus passenger flow investigation and method,starting from the characteristics of urban public transport system in China, based on the technology application and theoretical research at home and abroad, and the taking an example of the Jinan public transportation passenger flow characteristics of the bus passenger flow was introduced in detail. Then, this paper introduced the bus scheduling optimization problems related theories, including the principle of preparation of schedules, according to the basic theories and method and minimum cost flow theory and the theory of bi-level programming methods such as operational research theories. Finally the paper lined frequency for bus scheduling optimization and transited vehicles and drivers scheduling problems had been studied. According to the relationship between the buses and the drivers and the bus dispatchers based on minimum cost flow built bus scheduling optimization model, and built the optimization model of bus lines start frequency starting from the demand of passenger demand and bus companies. This paper has an effect on setting up the theory frame of intelligent bus operation scheduling system, for the future urban development provides some theoretical basis for intelligent transport system.
