Research On Contrastive Analysis Of Characteristic Landscape Constructions In The Historical Districts

As the soul of a city, historical cultural districts is an important carrier of the memories of city’s history, with dense atmosphere of humanity and profound regional culture, which is of great significance to continuing the venation of city culture. Renewal and reconstruction of some elements of historical districts are the common protective methods and inheritance means presently in China, including spatial arrangement, building construction, humanity mark, commercial modality, etc. Therefore, historical districts should not be considered as the stumbling block to city development and totally abandoned in the urban construction, on the contrary, it should be well utilized, developed and inherited to create a unique scenery line with regional culture characteristics and promote the cultural taste and connotation of the city.In this paper, on the basis of the theoretical achievements of domestic and overseas research, and the exposition and analysis of the construction principles, features and relevant concepts of characteristic landscape in the historical districts, combining with related theories about landscape planning and designing, an in-depth research on history and present status of Nanluoguxiang in Beijing and Kuanzhaixiangzi in Chengdu have been conducted. The main research fields refer to ①regional position ②historical origin ③the overall landscape features ④characteristic landscape containing construction, greening and environmental facilities, especially the space integration of Kuanzhaixiangzi has been dissected deeply.Secondly, the integralities of historical landscape style, positioning of transportation system and functional regions, landscape space and architectural style of the two districts have been objectively evaluated combined with the degree of participation and satisfaction of tourists. As the starting point, landscape elements including the integralities of historical landscape style, courtyard space, historical architecture, greening features and environmental facilities of Nanluoguxiang and Kuanzhaixiangzi were compared and analyzed. Finally, on the premise of summarizing respective advantages and disadvantages, some ideas and suggestions of transformation come up as follows:(1) remodel the place spirit, and remold the district plot;(2) improve the traffic function, and increase the infrastructure;(3) unify the architectural interface, and create the brand culture;(4) architectural the plants landscape, and reappear the historical style;(5) adjust the activity form, and guide the commerce form;(6) build the characteristic space, and create the regional feature;(7) restore the historical construction, and complete the history memories.By means of the above thinking of transformation, a pattern of landscape style fit for different historical districts under different regional cultures is expected to be explored, which will contribute to finding out reasonable and effective ways and paths of inheritance and development of historical districts characteristic landscape in modern cities. The conclusion and transformation suggestions are expected to provide theoretical reference and experience to the historical districts with urgent need to change.
