Nowadays, with the improvement of people’s living standards, the spiritual and cultural demands increase with each passing day, which result in the rapid development of entertainment culture. At the same time, it has been a higher quality request to the effects of stage performance.As an indispensable part in the stage performance, the light can achieve many art effects with its unique dynamic combination methods, such as emotion expression, simulation of the natural, the creation of artistic conception, cutting the stage space, etc. There are many species of stage lights, the use of follow spot light is an indispensable and important means in the stage performance art. However, the methods to control the follow spot light is limited now. There are three common control modes, including manual control, remote control and fixed route control, but all of these modes have shortcomings on controlling the follow spot light. They do not have the capability of meeting the requirement that the lighting follows the actors accurately on the stage.In order to solve the above problems, a new system was developed based on existing servo system, video target tracking technology, and motor speed control technology, which can improve the capability of automatic control and accuracy of the system.This paper discussed the Mean Shift algorithm and analyzed the principle of the Mean Shift target tracking algorithm in detail. The Mean Shift target tracking algorithm is a modeling mechanism based on statistical probability density function. It can be easily implemented to get accurate tracking position for low-speed targets.This study discussed the existing interpolation algorithm, and focused on the inflection point problem in the biaxial interpolation algorithm. A corresponding improvement model called iterative inequality model was carried out, because it is difficult for the recursive inequality model to find the optimal solution. The main principle of this model is adding a new inflection point before the next inflection point. This method can reduce the change of the speed in the inflection point. Thus, it can make the follow spot light through the inflection point with the current speed, and can improve the tracking accuracy.Finally, a stage lighting automatic tracking servo system was developed based on the Mean Shift target tracking algorithm and the iterative inequality model. The system is competence to the follow-up function of the follow spot light. |
