Automatic Shift System Research And Development Of Chang An Star AMT Minicar

Along with standard of living improved, domestic cars are increasing gradually of late years. For satisfying the curbstone drivers'request for simple handle, many manufacturers have considered automobile transmission as their development direction. AMT is an new automatic shift technology recently, which is concerned by the world. Because AMT needn't change major structure of manual transmission, it is easy to be produced. The manufacture technology is less difficult than other automobile transmission. Now AMT is suitable to the level of Automobile Industry in China.In the course of AMT design, develop, matching of the vehicle, it is necessary to analysis the integral performance of power train which mainly consists of engine and AMT, Base on this, optimization design and combination control of power train can be realized. In this paper, According to the project of Chongqing Tsingshan CO.Ltd., the kernel technical issues in the developing the Changan Star AMT minicar are researched. Main work as follows:1. Base on the characteristic tests of engine, the torque and fuel consumption models are established using curve fitting, which is useful to match, simulate and control the best economy and dynamic of the AMT system.2. Base on analyzing the relation between work forces and displacement of clutch, analyzing the Large disgorges of clutch spring and torque feature of clutch, the factors of effect comfort and life of clutch are analyzed, and the control model of the clutch is established, and clutch automatic control is achieved when the vehicle start and shift.3. By using electronic fuel pedal to control engine speed, the dynamic schedule and economic schedule are designed according to the acceleration characteristic and fuel consumption. The general gear-shift schedule is designed for the car's practicability.4. According to the dynamical equation of vehicle riding, the system for simulating the dynamic driving model of AMT vehicle is established. With the system, the dynamic and economical characteristics of Chang An Star with AMT are simulated.5. The hydraulic control system, select-shift mechanism and electronic fuel pedal mechanism of AMT automatic shift system are designed and developed for Changan star minicar. Furthermore, Changan AMT ministar have been designed , developed and tested.
