With the rapid development of urban construction and transportation infrastructure construction, the curved continuous rigid frame bridge with longe-span which is constructed by the prestressed concrete has been an unprecedented development. By comparing the straight bridge, in the view of the whole route, the design of curved beam bridge is fluent streamline, attractive appearance. At the same time, it has a series of advantages, which avoids the right angle connection, reduces the probability of accident occurrence in corner, and eventually takes great benefits for the society. Due to the interaction of bending and torsion coupling in prestressed concrete bridge, the force and deformation characteristics is showed as a complicated space in the entire structure of bridge, while the radius of curvature has a great influence to the degree of bending and torsion coupling.With the wide development of the highway, an increasing number of curved continuous rigid frame bridges with high pier are built in the mountainous areas. Furthermore, the study of rigid frame bridge is not sufficient in our country. Therefore, it has a high engineering application value to put forward a research subject of studying the characteristics of space force and deformation in the curved prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame bridge with a large span. The work done is benefit to have a deep knowledge about the spatial properties on the curved bridge, and provide reference for the design and safety construction of the curved bridge with large span.First of all, the research background, the current state, the basic solving methods and the deficiencies in the past studies are introduced in the curved prestressed concrete beam bridge.And then, based on research background, a numerical simulation for the whole bridge is conducted by means of the finite element software MIDAS. The characteristics of mechanical and deformation are analyzed in the curved prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame bridge with a large-span under its own weight, the prestressing load, and constant load. Meanwhile, the mechanical and deformation influence law of the structure affected by the radius of curvature is discussed. Furthermore, the influence on the deformation of the curved continuous rigid frame bridge with a large-span under the live load is discussed at the operational stage. At the same time, the deformation influence of the bridge span structure affected by the radius of curvature is also analyzed.Finally, the research work is summarized in this paper. The change rules of internal force and deformation are obtained in curved beam bridge with different radius of curvature under its own weight, the prestressing load, constant load, and live load. At the same time, the influence law of the curved beam bridge affected by the radius of curvature.
