Urbantraffic Congestion Countermeasures—Opening Research Of Enclosed Type District Traffic

With the rapid development of economy, private car is universal gradually; herein closed community attracts more attention from government, developers and residents. The sparse and wide road net makes the problem that traffic jam stand out. At current, closed community mainly has the following traits:closed, big area, populous, single function and less interrelation, decreasing the density of road network and accessibility; besides, internal travel mainly depends on the main road, disturbing urban road and increasing the traffic pressure around the road network. In this paper, closed community was researched to relieve the urban traffic jam, not only increasing the density of regional road network and accessibility, but also sharing the traffic pressure for urban main road to enhance the interrelation.Firstly the concept of community, closed cell, and closed traffic open area were defined and then making a plot of the concerning research status at home and abroad. Based on the traffic investigation of closed community as well as the traffic situation around it, by summarizing its characteristics, according to the interval of branch research at home and abroad in a specific area, the closed community suitable for open traffic was determined. By managing the survey data, taking advantage of the traffic assignment theory and Braess paradox, then the survey data were input traffic simulation software, to obtain the road capacity, delay, queue length, travel time, travel delay, V/C evaluation index, to determine the traffic situation around the closed community. Feasibility of open traffic for closed community was tested in the same means, compared with the evaluation index obtained; and then the concerning index were gained via the synthetical impedance put forward in this paper. Lastly the index gained was input Braess model, to determine that whether it’s suitable for open traffic. In order to avoid the negative effects of traffic opening, according to the different forms of open traffic, the related countermeasure analysis were put forward. Finally, through the introduction of case analysis, not only verifies the theory meeting practical application, but also shows the specific operation method of the closed area traffic opening. Referring to the above study, the following conclusion are obtained:the traits of closed community were summarized and its effect on urban traffic; traffic open for closed community can not only improve the accessibility of road network, but also can reduce the cost of travel and create a green traffic.Through the above analysis and research, some suggestions are put forward for urban land planning, land utilization and traffic planning, avoiding the appearance of bigger closed cell in the metro. At the same time, more attention is expected to the effect of closed community on urban traffic.
