Welding connections were widely used in traditional steel structures. But welding connection required good weather, high welding technology in construction sites, and it was easily prone to brittle failure. And a large of welding connections improved test cost and hidden danger. With the development of prefabricated building system, welding connection, because of its own limitations is no longer meet the needs of the prefabricated building system. Spliced connection become a main method of column connection in prefabricated building system because of its easily installation, good mechanics performance. This paper studies on square steel tube column splicing connection and H-pile column bolted-splicing connection in the prefabricated building system. Square steel tube column splicing connection is made of square steel tube column, inner sleeve, through high-strength bolt and high-strength bolts, H-pile column bolted-splicing connection is made of H-pile column, U-shape splicing plate and high-strength bolts. These two connections were designed by equal strength design method. The author analyzed the static and hysteretic performance of the Standard specimen observe the bearing capacity and energy dissipation capacity of two connections by using the ANSYS finite element analysis software, and then analyzed the static and hysteretic performance of some new specimen by changing the length and thickness of inner sleeve, the thickness of flange splicing plate and web splicing plate, the length of the splicing plate, the axial compression ratio of the specimen.Obtain the load-displacement curve, hysteresis curve, skeleton curve and equivalent viscous damping coefficient of these new specimen. Finally, discussed the influence of mechanical properties of the connections by changing the size of inner sleeve, splicing plate and the axial compression ratio of the specimen and gave some reasonable design suggestions on the size of the inner sleeve and the splice plate.
