Museum is like a business card of a city’s culture. Through the study of the museum, peo ple could understand the past, present and future of a city. The development of the contempora ry museum is very rapid. With this development, the holistic positioning and spatial form of th e building design are also changed. Even the expression of the building design also become m ore and more diversified. How to improve the show effect of a display space by using various display methods become a key point of modern exhibition space design. Through the study of the relevant theories and the regional museum, the writer introduced the regional feature of the museum, and she also summarized and induced a series of expression. It provided the referenc e of the museum building design, and also enlightened people the wonders of the regional mus eum.Through the analysis and summary of Liaocheng’ regional culture, the writer explored the esse nce of regional and folk culture, and conducted the new interpretations of these cultures by usi ng the modern design concept. The design embodied the bright regional culture characteristics and the unique national style and folk customs.
