The pump is a mechan that tranform mechanical energy or other energy into potential of liquid machine tool,and then manifested in the form of kinetic energy to achieve the purpose of transportation of liquid.With the rapid development of industry,the centrifugal pump is also beginning to be applied in the work environment, such as power plants, but in plants such harsh working conditions, there will be inefficient and centrifugal energy issues.In this paper, we decided to optimize the 24SH-19double-suction centrifugal pump.Due to centrifugal impeller is an important part of the work, affecting their efficiency, so decided to optimize the design of the impeller.Finite element analysis can be carried out in accordance with the establishment of the impeller impeller three-dimensional model, complete with MATLAB optimization design.To achieve the puepouse that improve the efficiency and reduce the shaft power.With the development of double-suction centrifugal pumps, more and more centrifugal pump is applied to a variety of occasions, but because it has the drawbacks of low efficiency and high energy-consuming,it needs to be optimized design to achieve the purpose of improving efficiency and saving costs.Mainly from the following aspects:(1)With centrifugal impeller as the research object, based on the impeller structure and two-dimensional model draw three-dimensional model by the three-dimensional graphics software UG.(2)We can obtain the three-dimensional model diagram by UG,use ANSYS Workbench to do the static analysis of impeller to obtain equivalent and total deformation maps, determining the forces and deformation of the impeller under working conditions; And modal analysis based on its impeller material,from the analysis of the frequency and rotor speed determine the impeller will not have resonance phenomenon. The results determined in accordance with the above analysis of theimpeller is safe and secure in their work.(3)To determine the safety of the impeller, the impeller can be optimized.Compare several optimization method to determine use the genetic algorithm to optimize the design of the impeller.With minimal energy loss and shaft power as the objective function,with import and export of the impeller diameter, import and export angle blade,import and export blade width as design variables,After using MATLAB genetic algorithm to optimize the impeller and then come to optimize the size of the relevant parameters,bringing it to the target function,the results show that efficiency is improved by 2.4% and 1.6% lower shaft power.
