In urban areas, the development of new tunnels necessarily involves the surrounding existing underground structures. In this case, the existing underground structures near the stability strata can relax the restriction on a new tunnel excavation. Design and construction of overlapped tunnel with small spacing in line 3 in Qingdao Metro Line 2 under the engineering background, according to the hydrogeological conditions of formation of Qingdao City, from the aspects of construction scheme, construction deployment support technology and construction of ultra small spacing tunnel of urban interchange in inclined tunnel to optimize the design, and the process of blasting vibration and settlement of surrounding structure caused by the construction of the deformation monitoring results show that through the optimization of construction scheme greatly reduces the adverse impact of construction on the surrounding structures, to provide theoretical guidance to the design and construction of overlapping line of Qingdao metro, and provide the reference for the the similar underground engineering.
