Since the implementation of the renewable energy law in 2006, the pace of the wind power construction is speeding up. Large-scale wind farm net for the safe operation of power system brings a series of profound influence on economic operation. Now, Zhangjiakou local power network has connected 220 kvVwind 25 city,14 city 110 kV wind farms, and the total installed capacity 5917.35MW. Under the support of zhangjiakou power supply bureau of science and technology projects, the Automatic Voltage Control (Automatic Voltage Control, AVC) system of zhangjiakou local power network is studied.First, large-scale wind farms in zhangjiakou under centralized access grid automatic voltage control mode are studied. Then, the overall control scheme of hierarchical control is proposed. Through the process of the AVC system construction of wind power in the area of automatic voltage control of the main functions realizes the automatic voltage control of wind power large-scale centralized access area.Then, the real time monitoring system of AVC is established. From this system, wind area of the total active power generation data is got. Based on the current total active wind farms and Internet trend dynamically determine area substation busbar voltage fluctuation limit and control target, and the wind power active efforts, the large-scale wind power voltage of the feasible region automatically match concentrated area is realized. The AVC two-way interactive information between master station and wind farm AVC station is studied and implemented. In the end, it achives that the wind farms react with the hub substation power equipment on the time series of automatic coordinated control. Through the control strategy on the timing to cooperate, this method avoids the sharp fluctuations, makes the area more reasonable distribution of reactive power.Finally, test and experiment. In order to verify the rationality of AVC for zhangjiakou local large-scale wind farms centralized access the automatic voltage control of power net, paper has carried on the closed loop to wind field test experiment. The experimental results show that the the main AVC system of zhangjiakou has the ability of the automatic voltage control, which can adapt to the change of the regional active efforts and calculate the appropriate voltage control target and the closed loop control with the wind farm AVC sub station system automatically.
