| With the acceleration of urbanization, the size of city continues to expand which brings growing number of regions for government to control. To achieve high-efficient govern on increasing basic geographic urban data and urban planning data, reasonable, seamless and full-covered region partition among urban planning unit has to be accomplished. At present, due to the lack of uniform standards and norms, planning unit system has formed respectively according to the characteristics in different cities which indicate poor connections and displaced management propaganda and other issues of urban planning data in different levels. In the study of the existing urban planning unit, many scholars analyzed the planning unit partition in terms of its principles and structure while manual methods with great subjectivity and arbitrariness are commonly deployed. Therefore, few studies on automatic classification and unified coding of planning units have emerged.According to the deficiencies above and on the basis of the characteristics of urban planning accomplishment data and planning unit features, this paper proposed five-level urban planning unit hierarchy, explored how the hierarchical spatial reasoning is worked on auto-partition of multilevel urban planning units as well as the coding system, and testified as well. The contents and results of this thesis are as following:(1) This paper analyzes the following characteristics of urban planning data: attributes, geometry, multiscale and relationship, also analyzes the characteristics of compilation method and planning units. While giving a summary of typical urban planning units partition plan, the five-level urban planning unit hierarchy——"Resident-Community-Group-Street-Area" is also proposed.(2)According to the urban planning units’features and method, the paper sets up rules for multilevel urban planning unit partition in terms of hierarchical partition factors including weight, unit area threshold, compactness threshold and land function. Depending on the rules above, it extracts the smallest unit of urban land planning which is seen as the lowest level. On account of this, auto-partition algorithm of multilevel urban planning units based on hierarchical spatial reasoning is designed.(3)This paper studied the coding rules for the multilevel urban planning units so as to actually code the planning unit in different levels respectively. For instance, coding structure consists of administrative division code, unit level code, unit location code, unit attributes code and unit outline code, which associated with the urban planning unit’s location, attributes and geometry information.(4) The basic data and land data of Liandu district in Lishui City is used as an example. According to the proposed urban planning unit hierarchical spatial reasoning algorithm, auto-partition of urban planning unit and coding system have been realized. Moreover, this partition is analyzed in comparison with the given urban planning partition result, which verified the validity of the method; the proposed coding method is more normative, it not only can unique identify the planning units, but also extract the information of planning units from coding result.In this paper, a new method of hierarchical division of urban planning units is proposed that improve the efficiency of partition and coding for urban planning units, and provided the technical support for the organization of urban planning data. Meanwhile, foundations have been set for the cohesion between comprehensive planning and detailed urban planning as well as cohesion between urban planning and land use planning. |
